Getting to Negril from Montego Bay

The drive from Montego Bay to Negril is approximately 50 miles. However, it’s 50 miles of curvy, bumpy roads and Jamaican drivers! In Jamaica, driving is on the left-handed side of the road with steering wheels on the right. If you are brave enough to tackle the Jamaican drive, GOOD LUCK! If you want to make it to Negril in one piece, I encourage you to arrange alternate transportation. If you are staying at an All-Inclusive (AI) resort such as Sandals or Beaches, your transportation will be arranged by  the resort. Be sure to double check with your resort and provide them with your flight times/itinerary. Another option, is to arrange for a private transportation which is common form of travel for visitors. You will find many options for transportation once you arrive at the Montego Bay airport. A local reputable company is Tourwise and they often have vans waiting to transport visitors to their destination.  You can reach Tourwise at (876) 974-2323. Another company o check with is Divine Tours Limited (876) 957-3838.
